TSU’s President, Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, to Keynote NBCC Annual Luncheon

Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover, who became the President of Tennessee State University in January, will be the keynote speaker at NBCC’s Annual Luncheon to be held on Thursday, September 19th, at the Loew’s Vanderbilt Hotel. “We are so thrilled to have Dr. Glover address the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce’s members and guests at our annual event,” said Carolyn McHaney Waller, President of the Nashville Black Chamber.

Dr. Glover was formerly the Dean of the College of Business at Jackson State University in Jackson, Miss., where she led the College of Business throughout the accreditation process, and spearheaded the implementation of the nation’s only Ph.D. in Business at an HBCU. She is a certified public accountant, an attorney, and is one of two African American women to hold the Ph.D.-CPA-JD combination in the nation.

The luncheon is open to the public; tickets and table sponsorships are available at Ticketbud.
