Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce Rising Stars

The Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce announces its 2017 Rising Stars. The award recipients are as follows:

Issac Addae – makes waves in social politics in the Nashville area as the creator of Conscious Conversation, founding board member of The Hub for Urban Entrepreneurship, Inc, founder of 260 Change Fund, board member of Equity Alliance, and board member of Metro Nashville Health and Educational Facilities Board.

Ashley Amons & Kerry Schrader – interrupting the tech world as co-founders of the mobile app Mixtroz and as an African American, mother-daughter duo helping event attendees easily connect and engage with one another through curated group networking experiences.

Wanda Amos – creates pathways toward self-sufficiency by helping individuals (18 and older) with developmental challenges live the fullest life possible and is a council member for the Regional Planning and Policy Councils committee for the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Dr. Drake Dudley, M.D. & Dr. Gerald Onuoha, M.D. – cultivates environments of cultural excellence that encourages academic prowess by increasing the number of African American youth inspired to pursue medicine, law, education, engineering, journalism, and entrepreneurship through their non-profit organization Project Dream.

Jason Luntz – builds branding opportunities for businesses as a new media strategist and founder of UrVoyce, adjunct professor in the Communications Department at Tennessee State University, former president of the Nashville chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, and Social Media Director for the Tennessee Tribune.

Emmanuel Roland – captures the experiences of entrepreneurism and disrupted the world of photography as the brain behind the camera and behind the Roland Experience, a mobile photo studio providing the convenience of a small lounge, consultation area, beverage station, changing area, and full photography studio.

Robert Sherrill – makes a positive impact to the value of self-empowerment and uplifting others as President and CEO of Imperial Cleaning Systems, Inc., Vice President of The Winners Circle, founder of Imperial Cares, and co-founder of The Lab.
